Job overview
As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will help create a welcoming hotel experience by keeping kitchen and dining support areas clean, organized, and ready for service. Key responsibilities
- Ensure service items remain clean and ready for use, including chinaware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, and polished silver.
- Track inventory levels and keep supplies and equipment arranged so operations run smoothly.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties in the kitchen, such as mopping floors and removing waste.
- Prepare clean serviceware and assist with setup for banquets and other functions.
- Work in line with hygiene standards, safe handling practices, and health and safety procedures when dealing with hazardous materials.
- Escalate safety risks, damage, or equipment problems to the supervisor on duty without delay.
- Guide and support new colleagues by sharing know-how and helping build team capability.
