Role overview
This full-time position sits within the Renewables division and supports offshore wind farm projects through the Statutory Inspections team. The role is based primarily in Emden, with Hamburg also mentioned as a possible office location. Travel of around 10% per year should be expected. Safety is a central value in the role, and the position is intended to contribute to stronger safety practices while supporting the energy transition toward renewables.
What you will do
- Act as a point of support for projects and colleagues on matters related to expert certification and the inspection of cranes, ladders, and access platforms.
- Review service orders in the ERP system and make corrections where needed.
- Enter checked and completed confirmation information back into ERP orders.
- Work with offshore teams, track progress, and help resolve issues.
- Maintain service-order master data, resources, materials, and material postings in ERP.
- Prepare and check supporting records for inspections of cranes, ladders, and access systems performed by qualified personnel and specialists.
- Technically review feedback and, when follow-up work is needed, send items back into the process.
- Contribute ideas and support for new concepts, project work, and process improvements.
- Help improve workflows and departmental procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.

- Additional training as a master craftsman or technician is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably including proAlpha.
- Solid experience with document management systems.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Very strong German and English language skills.
- A flexible, committed, and well-organized working style.
- Understanding of safety standards relevant to the field.
