Role overview
This leadership position carries full sales and operations P&L responsibility for Stegbar Windows South Australia. Working from the Pooraka site, you will represent the business unit within the global building products sector while guiding a larger team and seven direct reports to achieve goals across safety, production, customer service, revenue, profit and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the sales function by shaping and executing the business unit’s strategic sales plan and fostering a consultative, values-led sales culture.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities that align with the company and group strategy, including broader “One Company” opportunities.
- Drive operational performance so work is carried out efficiently and effectively, with a strong focus on productivity and return on investment.
- Own financial outcomes through budgeting, forecasting, cost management and margin improvement so commercial decisions support revenue, profit and sustainable growth.
- Set, implement and deliver strategy through the leadership team to achieve business, people and performance objectives.
- Create and deliver engagement initiatives that help build a workplace where employees want to contribute to a high-performing culture.
- Strengthen customer loyalty and grow sales volumes by ensuring a strong customer experience and reliable product performance.
- Maintain robust systems and controls to protect financial and physical assets in line with group policies and procedures.
- Oversee manufacturing and warehousing to ensure daily production requirements are met and customer commitments are delivered on time, with efficient use of plant, equipment, labour and materials.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a motivated leader with P&L experience in windows or the wider building products sector. Success in the role will depend on your ability to grow revenue, improve operational efficiency and motivate teams to perform at a high level.
- Proven leadership capability with a track record of building high-performing and engaged teams.
- Experience implementing sales plans and business development initiatives that lift revenue and market share.
- Strong capability in operational excellence with a lean mindset.

- Ability to build strong relationships while promoting safety and customer service standards.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions promptly and effectively.
- Comfort using business systems and technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience of 5+ years.
- MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
