Role overview
The Star Development Coordinator is tasked with hiring capable Jaza Stars (sales agents) for newly launched sites. Accountabilities
- Run the complete hiring workflow for new-site Jaza Stars, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, with a focus on candidates whose ambitions and goals fit the organisation.
- Take ownership of training and assessment for selected recruits, keep learning materials current, and ensure all onboarding steps and required records are completed and stored correctly.
Core responsibilities

- Track interest levels from applicants and make sure the candidate pool is strong enough for interviews and training.
- Coordinate all logistics needed for interviews and training sessions at each expansion site.
- Carry out interviews, classroom sessions, and on-site training for potential Jaza Star hires.
- Spot key topics that should be emphasised in training and share recommendations to improve the training content.
- Keep classroom and field training resources updated by flagging additions or changes for the QA Expansion Operations team.
- Complete all onboarding requirements for new hires and ensure documents are submitted accurately.
- Register Jaza Stars on the dashboard and activate their accounts on the Star App.
- Prepare employment contracts, obtain signatures, and upload the signed copies to the drive.
- Update the Jaza Star registry with the details of newly recruited staff.

- Strong ability to source candidates through local networks, community contacts, and local job boards.
- Ability to present the company as an appealing local employer.
- Experience creating recruitment approaches tailored to specific communities.
- Comfort conducting face-to-face interviews.
- Ability to evaluate both job-related ability and cultural fit in community-based environments.
