Job Overview
Join KIMS Hospital as a dedicated Staff Nurse in our Outpatients department based in Orpington, Kent, England. This permanent, full-time position involves a 40-hour workweek with shifts from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 20:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional clinical care consistently across various specialties including orthopaedics, dermatology, urology, gynaecology, and gastroenterology.
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of senior nursing staff.
- Planning, implementing, and delivering holistic, patient-centred care for assigned patients.
- Maintaining precise and accurate patient records using the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Contributing to building a strong and effective team aligned with the vision of "health care at its best."
Candidate Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN RGN) certification.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in an acute healthcare setting.
- Desirable experience includes wound care, phlebotomy, minor operations, and gynaecology/urology procedures; training is available for suitable candidates.
- Strong patient focus with a proven commitment to delivering top-quality healthcare.
- Understanding of clinical governance, with ongoing commitment to professional development.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with consultants, colleagues, and patients.
