What You’ll Do

  • Create and roll out new capabilities for the Seller Center that improve the digital shopping and retail journey.
  • Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineering peers to shape practical and effective solutions.
  • Use the SCAYLE platform to handle product and order data efficiently.
  • Improve application speed and stability by refining SQL queries strategically.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain strong engineering standards and support continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve issues so users experience reliable service.
  • Investigate AI-enabled features that can simplify workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or similar lightweight JavaScript frameworks, or a clear willingness to learn them.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable data storage systems.
  • Strong commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with attention to codebase quality.
  • Comfortable working in an English-speaking workplace.
  • Strong German reading comprehension at C1 level; spoken German is helpful but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced Python development skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Django.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience contributing to open-source software.
  • Background in greenfield projects or startup environments, with the ability to adapt quickly and work toward product-market fit.
