Role Summary
In the role of Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you will be responsible for designing and scaling sophisticated real-time AI voice systems that enable realistic conversation simulations tailored for enterprise contact centers. This involves creating efficient, low-latency data pipelines and microservices built with Python and React, integrating large language models (LLMs) and voice AI technologies to revolutionize the training process for millions of front-line agents worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale real-time voice agent infrastructure featuring WebSocket-based streaming, session management, and low-latency audio and event pipelines.
- Build and maintain Python microservices using frameworks such as Django or Flask, closely integrating with agentic frameworks and voice AI platforms like Deepgram and ElevenLabs.
- Work collaboratively with machine learning engineers and product teams to translate complex enterprise business needs into robust, scalable APIs that adhere to regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between five and eight years of backend development experience, with strong skills in Python and familiarity with Django or Flask frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of real-time communication protocols including WebSocket, WebRTC, or gRPC streaming, capable of managing high-volume simulation workloads.
- Experience managing distributed systems hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
