Role overview
Flywire is seeking a Senior Manager for APAC FP&A to partner closely with the APAC CFO and support the region’s growth agenda. In this position, you will translate detailed financial information into practical actions that improve revenue performance and operating efficiency across fast-moving markets.
This opportunity is open to candidates located in Singapore or Sydney.
What you will do
- Use strong commercial judgment, financial expertise, and analytical thinking to explain complex information in a clear, concise way.
- Track and interpret business and operational KPIs, connecting them to financial results and strategic priorities.
- Apply FP&A and forecasting experience to balance quantitative rigor with business context and generate decision-ready insights.
- Own and drive cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, using strong project coordination skills.
- Work independently while partnering effectively with others, showing diplomacy, adaptability, and strong presentation abilities.
- Support APAC and global stakeholders by analyzing large and complex data sets and turning them into meaningful financial insights.
- Work with finance, analytics, product, sales, and marketing teams on ROI analysis, financial objectives, product plans, and sales productivity metrics.
- Build, improve, and maintain scalable financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Contribute to long-term planning, yearly budgeting, and recurring forecasting cycles.
- Consolidate APAC financial results and ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and insight-driven.
- Examine financial performance, identify patterns, and recommend improvements to business results.
- Support business case development and deeper analysis of strategic initiatives.
- Assess profitability across countries, channels, payment corridors, verticals, and products, including analysis of LTV and CAC.
- Spot opportunities to expand and optimize the business through analytics, modeling, and business-case work.
- Partner with central finance teams to strengthen model quality, data integrity, and financial systems.
- Help automate manual reporting workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a fast-paced technology or fintech setting.
- Strong technical and analytical ability, including the capacity to organize data for scale.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfort operating in a matrixed global environment and across diverse APAC markets.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence in a business-partnering role.
- Very strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Solid systems and data-analytics capability.
- Experience with ERP/EPM tools such as Workday, NetSuite, or Adaptive, and BI tools such as Looker, is highly valued.
- Familiarity with AI-related tools is considered an advantage.
