Position Overview

We are seeking a Splunk Engineer/Administrator to architect, implement, and enhance Splunk platforms used for security oversight, log administration, SIEM activities, and operational intelligence. This role involves close cooperation with SOC, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and network departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, update, and maintain Splunk Enterprise and related components such as Search Heads, Indexers, Forwarders, and Deployment Servers.
• Administer distributed and clustered environments including managing indexes, sourcetypes, data retention policies, and role-based access control.
• Continuously monitor the platform’s health, performance, and availability, pinpoint and resolve indexing or search-related issues.
• Ingest logs from various security and IT sources, oversee forwarders, data inputs, and perform field extractions primarily on Linux/Unix environments.
• Provide support for Splunk Enterprise Security including building correlation searches, detections, alerts, notable events, and dashboards.
• Assist SOC teams with search queries and investigative tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of experience.
• Demonstrated practical expertise managing Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Deep understanding of SIEM concepts, log management, and security monitoring frameworks.
• Proficient with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Applicant must be a Saudi national.
