Job Overview

This position provides an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a cybersecurity background to transition into the role of FBI Special Agent. As a Special Agent, you will leverage your existing technology expertise while being challenged to develop critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills within a high-stakes environment focused on countering national security threats.

Main Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage investigations into potential breaches of federal laws, focusing on cybersecurity and public safety issues.
  • Apply sound judgment and adaptability when addressing complex investigative requirements.
  • Build and sustain cooperative relationships with law enforcement organizations at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain necessary physical fitness to fulfill law enforcement operational needs.

Key Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as the position demands.
  • Meet all FBI employment eligibility standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited institution, ideally in computer science, engineering, data science, IT, or related discipline.
  • Official college transcripts must be provided for degree verification.
