Job Overview
This role invites individuals with a background in accounting to join the FBI as Special Agents. It's an opportunity to expand your existing financial knowledge while engaging in challenging investigations that involve critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork among experts safeguarding national security.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out investigations related to federal law violations, including those concerning cybersecurity and public safety.
- Demonstrate judgment and flexibility to handle diverse investigative requirements.
- Establish and nurture relationships with law enforcement agencies at all government levels and internationally.
- Maintain physical fitness levels necessary to fulfill law enforcement responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Meet FBI employment eligibility criteria.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S.-accredited institution, preferably in accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.
- Degree must be supported by submission of official college transcripts.
Compensation
The salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted according to base, locality, and availability pay.
