Role Overview

The Spare and Warranty Manager position at Kamtra Automotive Private Limited, located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, is designed to oversee the efficient management of spare parts inventory and warranty claims along with vendor and customer interactions to ensure smooth after-sales service and enhanced customer experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor stock fluctuations and reorder points.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate stock documentation and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Manage spare parts cost control and minimize outdated inventory.
  • Process warranty claims adhering strictly to company and manufacturer policies.
  • Authenticate warranty eligibility with necessary documentation.
  • Liaise with manufacturers or OEMs to obtain claim approvals and reimbursements.
  • Keep comprehensive warranty records and generate periodic analytical reports.
  • Assist service teams by ensuring spare parts availability and resolving customer warranty or parts related concerns.
  • Facilitate smooth operation through coordination with sales, service, and logistics departments.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory, warranty, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and manufacturer protocols and propose improvements based on trend analysis.

Required Expertise and Skills

  • Experience in inventory and warehouse operations management.
  • Proficiency in warranty claim handling.
  • Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Competence in managing relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Effective communication and leadership strengths.

Educational & Experience Requirements

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, along with 3 to 8 years of experience managing spare parts and warranty processes, ideally within automobile, manufacturing, or heavy equipment sectors.
