About the Role
At Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC), the Spa Receptionist represents the welcoming face of our spa facility, greeting members and guests warmly to ensure they enjoy a stellar experience. This role involves upholding a clean and safe environment at the spa and delivering excellent customer service aligned with FFC's values.
Work Schedule and Compensation
This part-time position is based at FFC Oak Park, with required shifts Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. The hourly wage is $15.40.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members personally with a friendly smile to create a great initial impression.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa’s reception area and tanning zones if applicable.
- Answer calls professionally, directing queries with care.
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently in coordination with spa staff.
- Process payments accurately and ensure cash drawers balance at shift end.
- Make reminder and confirmation calls to keep clients informed of their appointments.
- Educate clients on Recovery Lounge services, highlighting benefits, precautions, and suitable product or service selections.
- Respond to member inquiries and provide support to other departments as necessary.

Training and Development
FFC mandates a comprehensive hospitality training program for all new hires, involving several courses to be completed within the first 90 days. Specific role-focused training details will be provided by your manager upon hire.
