About the Role
Join Eightpointthree Electronics as a Sourcing Specialist collaborating closely with the Sales team to obtain the most competitive pricing for various requirements. This role involves identifying superior suppliers capable of delivering premium products or services at advantageous costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and evaluate potential suppliers to meet organizational needs effectively.
- Assess suppliers on quality, dependability, pricing, delivery proficiency, financial health, and industry compliance.
- Engage in negotiations to establish beneficial pricing, payment, delivery, and service terms.
- Develop and nurture supplier relationships to ensure collaboration, promptly resolve concerns, and seek improvement areas.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry shifts, and new supplier opportunities to enhance cost-efficiency and processes.
- Identify and manage risks such as supply chain interruptions, quality challenges, or regulatory compliance issues related to suppliers.
- Perform thorough cost analysis and benchmarking to guide procurement decisions toward cost reduction.
- Utilize proficiency in computer skills including Excel spreadsheets and word processing to support sourcing activities.
