About the Role
This position requires leading and implementing comprehensive global sourcing strategies aimed at optimizing expenditures, enhancing quality, and minimizing costs across procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and carry out worldwide sourcing plans to effectively manage spending and improve overall quality while cutting expenses.
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle from creating RFx documents through negotiating contracts, ensuring prompt delivery of products and services.
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams to identify cost reduction opportunities, streamline processes, and consolidate suppliers.
- Study market patterns, competitors’ actions, and client requirements to guide strategic sourcing initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 10 to 12 years of experience in leading global sourcing or procurement within the IT services and consulting sector.
- Demonstrated success managing intricate projects involving multiple stakeholders from departments such as finance and operations.
- Thorough knowledge of RFx procedures and proficiency in developing impactful RFI and RFP documents to achieve targeted results.
- Skilled in analyzing large datasets using applications like Excel and PowerPoint, with strong detail orientation and analytical capabilities.
