Job description
About the company
This organisation is reshaping how large-scale procurement creates value for communities across Aotearoa. Its commercial and supply chain function works across the country, focusing on smarter public resource use through strategic category management and durable partnerships.
About the role
In this leadership position, you will direct national sourcing programmes and make sure procurement activity delivers strong value, efficiency, and sustainability. The ideal candidate brings confidence in negotiation and team leadership, paired with strong commercial judgement and the ability to encourage collaboration and trust. You should be comfortable working through complexity and motivated by the chance to use sourcing as a force for positive change. You must be able to demonstrate leadership-level experience across multiple markets, geographies, and categories within large organisations, including substantial spend under management and wide-ranging people leadership.
Eligibility
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, New Zealand residents, or hold an existing valid visa that allows them to work in New Zealand.
