Role overview
This senior sales position sits within Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group (SSG) and focuses on driving revenue across a growing portfolio that includes AI solutions, IT managed services, Truscale IaaS/DaaS, ThinkShield/Core software, ARS, and other industry-specific offerings, alongside Lenovo's product range.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Lenovo Strategic, Global Capability Center (GCC), and enterprise account teams to shape joint value propositions and build go-to-market plans for SSG deals.
- Advance Truscale IaaS/DaaS adoption by positioning products, services, and financing solutions for the assigned territory or segment.
- Find, develop, and close large, complex sales opportunities across AI solutions, managed services, Truscale IaaS/DaaS, ThinkShield/Core software, and ARS services.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies for the SSG services portfolio to meet growth targets.
- Develop strong senior stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal account teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to move deals smoothly through each stage of the sales funnel.
- Use MS Dynamics and related reporting tools regularly to track performance metrics and ensure target achievement.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise technology sales experience, a strong record of closing high-value deals, and a deep understanding of solution-based selling across service-led offerings. Strategic thinking, commercial judgment, negotiation ability, and partner management skills are essential.
Additional requirements
- Engineering or Science degree preferred; an MBA or advanced technical qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of successful enterprise technology sales experience is required.
- Proven ability to perform at a top level with multi-million-dollar quotas.
- Direct sales background with strong knowledge of AI services, IT managed services, ThinkShield security/Core software, asset recovery services, and as-a-service business models.
- Ability to manage GCC relationships is an advantage.
- Experience or familiarity with the Sri Lanka market is an added advantage.
- The role reports to the Service and Solutions Group South India Leader.
