About The Team
ENERCON is transitioning from solely manufacturing wind turbines to becoming a wider solutions provider within the green energy sector. As part of this evolution, a centralized Solutions Management Team has been created within Corporate Strategy. This team acts as the innovation and solution development gateway for the company, focusing on early-stage identification, shaping, and validation of future business opportunities before they advance into formal product development.
Role Summary
The Solutions Project Manager is crucial in transforming new ideas into tangible initiatives. Situated within the Solutions Management Team, this role drives the early phases of solution development, overseeing projects from initial concepts to validation and defining minimum viable products (MVPs). It blends structured project leadership with cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and strategic problem-solving to convert promising prospects into decision-ready programs. The role interacts across multiple business units and regions to influence the future solution portfolio supporting the company's growth in the green energy ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate new solution projects spanning Business Unit Wind, Services, and Regions in partnership with the Solutions Workstream Owner.
- Develop and design novel solution concepts, orchestrating cross-functional workshops to ensure alignment, responsibility, and clear progression.
- Convert strategic goals into specific initiatives with measurable results and defined decision milestones.
- Create concise, executive-quality presentations to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Manage project dependencies, interfaces, risks, and maintain stakeholder alignment across diverse functions and teams.
- Promote rapid learning cycles through an agile approach involving discovery, customer interactions, prototyping, and validation.
- Support governance frameworks ensuring initiatives are prepared for key decision forums.
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with a broad stakeholder network, fostering an inclusive environment appreciating diverse viewpoints.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum five years’ experience managing projects, programs, or initiatives in complex organizations.
- Knowledge and practical experience with agile methodologies and mindset.
- Proven track record leading projects in innovation, incubation, or new business development settings.
- Experience working successfully across teams and functions without direct authority.
- Capacity to navigate uncertainty and propel progress in early-stage or changing environments.
- Understanding of business case essentials and commercial drivers.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience preparing materials for senior leadership and governance meetings.
- Proficient in English (required).
