Overview

Advantest Europe GmbH seeks a Software Training and Documentation Specialist in Böblingen, Germany for a full-time onsite role (Reference code: 8717). This position entails the development, maintenance, and enhancement of comprehensive documentation and training materials to support software users and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and continuously update documentation such as user manuals, guides, presentations, e-learning content, and instructional videos aligned with software updates and business processes.
  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and hands-on activities both onsite and virtually to support user adoption.
  • Analyze training needs and translate them into effective learning programs and concepts.
  • Promote software adoption through communication, training efforts, and user support mechanisms.
  • Evaluate feedback and training effectiveness to refine learning content and delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical documentation and creation of user guides and training materials.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for developing documentation and training materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly and accessibly.
  • Experience in delivering instructor-led training to varied audiences with impactful presentation and facilitation skills in both physical and virtual setups.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple documentation and training projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools such as Synthesia or similar platforms.
  • Experience producing digital learning assets, including videos and e-learning modules.
  • Capability in conducting virtual sessions using collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • German language skills are advantageous.
