Job Summary

We seek a meticulous Software Tester (Quality Assurance Engineer) to oversee the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of our LMS platform. The suitable candidate is passionate about identifying defects, enhancing user experience, and collaborating closely with developers to produce dependable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of applications across Web, Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac platforms.
• Draft, prepare, and carry out manual test cases and scenarios.
• Detect, document, and monitor software defects.
• Confirm bug resolutions prior to live product deployment.
• Execute regression, functional, UI/UX, and compatibility tests.
• Assess newly developed features before they launch.
• Ensure optimal performance across various web browsers and devices.
• Validate functionalities such as APIs, forms, login, payment systems, notifications, and end-user workflows.
• Report issues with detailed supporting evidence including screenshots, videos, and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to elevate software quality.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and release checklists.

Required Skills

• Solid grasp of Software Testing methodologies.
• Experience in Manual Testing practices.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with bug tracking software.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with API testing tools, with Postman considered a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience testing LMS, education technology, or SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of Android Studio, Xcode, or Flutter development environments.
• Basic understanding of automated testing techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with REST API concepts.
• Proficiency with browser developer tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines is required. Certification in Software Testing will be beneficial.
