Role Overview
We seek an experienced Software Product Manager to address supply chain challenges by developing innovative software solutions. This position entails collaborating closely with supply chain teams to ensure software features effectively support operational processes and enhance efficiency. You will manage the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements. Direct engagement with users to collect feedback, identify issues, and discover areas for improvement will be essential. Additionally, you will work alongside the software team to prioritize and manage a detailed backlog, facilitating clear communication about priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business units to convert customer and stakeholder needs into clear user stories and technical requirements.
- Establish and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that supports overall business objectives.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap prioritizing initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and return on investment.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to synchronize the team.
- Coordinate software release cycles to ensure smooth delivery and deployment.
- Develop and distribute release notes, user guides, and training resources to keep stakeholders and users informed and prepared.
- Track and assess product performance using data analytics to guide continuous improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Product Manager in software development with solid knowledge of software engineering principles.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise managing technical products and working effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to resolve complex data and software challenges, optimizing supply chain performance.
- Analytical thinker skilled at dissecting problems and utilizing data insights for informed decision-making.
