Software Engineer - C#

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer proficient in C# and .NET Core to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications, along with APIs and microservices. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and project teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions and involves participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and enhance web and mobile applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with business, project teams, and external vendors to gather and interpret requirements into technical deliverables.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for essential business-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, application defects, and integration challenges.
• Plan and coordinate internal and vendor-led technology projects from initiation through deployment.
• Analyze existing systems to recommend enhancements in architecture, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Assess and suggest appropriate software frameworks, platforms, and methodologies.
• Document systems thoroughly, including technical specifications and operational procedures.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and business units to ensure applications comply with organizational standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, software engineering trends, and DevOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of five years’ experience in software development or related fields.
• Strong end-to-end full-stack development capabilities including front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experienced in designing and maintaining object-oriented applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Proficient in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies like Angular, React, Vue.js, or jQuery.
• Experience in supporting and enhancing production-level web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, system integration, and best practices in application design and development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Self-driven with adaptability and eagerness to learn new development technologies and methodologies.
