About the role
DoorDash is hiring a Social Manager to shape and grow the brand’s Canada social presence. This person will own an always-on social approach that uses local culture, sports, and major seasonal moments to make the brand feel distinctive, credible, and expressive in the market. The role also includes creating and running a clear measurement system for social, setting performance benchmarks, demonstrating brand-health impact, and using data to improve creative output. This position reports to the Social Director in the Marketing team.
What you’ll do
- Help drive growth in organic social performance, including engagement and account momentum, through proactive campaigns and timely moments for DoorDash Canada.
- Create attention-grabbing social content that strengthens brand equity for the Canada audience.
- Identify and engage new fan communities and category areas relevant to DoorDash Canada.
- Build a future-focused social strategy for the Canada market.
- Partner across teams to expand the brand through experimentation and collaborative initiatives.
- Track results, report on impact, and use learnings to guide new opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- At least 4 years of relevant content experience, either on the brand side or in a creative agency.
- Strong ability to create culture-led content that performs well in feeds.
- A test-and-learn approach with comfort using data to improve creative decisions.
- Solid understanding of how organic social supports both everyday content and broader campaigns.
- Experience working with creative teams to produce social-first, owned moments.
- Interest in collaborating with creative and brand strategy partners.
- Genuine enthusiasm for culture, internet trends, and content creation.
Compensation and benefits
The company states that actual pay within the listed range will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, and work location. Base pay is adjusted by employee location. This role may also include equity grants; candidates should speak with a recruiter for details.
Regular employees receive a benefits package that includes paid time off, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, and several paid holidays. The base salary range provided for this role is CAD 113,000 to CAD 141,000.
