About CouchSide Coordinators

CouchSide Coordinators is a virtual administrative support agency that helps therapists, wellness practitioners, and women-led business owners spend less time on back-office work and more time focused on their core services.

The company emphasizes long-term client partnerships and customized, high-touch support. Each client is matched with one dedicated team member who becomes familiar with the business, communication preferences, and objectives.

The team is hiring an experienced Social Media Manager to work as an independent contractor.

About the Role

This is not a high-volume content production role. Social Media Managers act as reliable partners to clients by handling a small set of accounts, coordinating directly each month, producing engaging content, and helping carry out social strategies that fit each brand’s personality and tone.

Since each client works closely with one assigned manager, the ideal candidate should be relationship-focused, proactive in communication, and comfortable owning their accounts end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee social media for several client accounts at once
  • Design social graphics in Canva
  • Craft captions that match each client’s brand voice
  • Plan and schedule posts for Instagram and Facebook
  • Work with clients to collect images, videos, and content prompts
  • Create reels, carousel content, and static posts
  • Track deadlines and make sure deliverables go out on schedule
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner over email and Slack
  • Work within existing SOPs and internal processes
  • Coordinate with other team members at CouchSide Coordinators as needed

Requirements

  • Prior hands-on experience managing social media for businesses
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines independently
  • Excellent written communication abilities
  • Comfort with giving and receiving feedback
  • Ability to keep a consistent brand voice across different client accounts
  • Proactive communication style and a habit of flagging issues early
  • Reliable follow-through, responsiveness, and accountability
  • Interest in building lasting client relationships
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote setup

Preferred Experience

Preference may go to candidates who have worked with therapists, private practices, healthcare or wellness professionals, women entrepreneurs, or other service-based businesses.

Tools and Platform Experience

Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Drive, Slack, Flodesk, or similar email marketing tools is a plus. Basic short-form video editing is also advantageous.
