Role overview
A premium stationery label built around intentional living and thoughtfully designed analogue tools is looking for a part-time freelance social media manager. The main focus of the role is to strengthen the brand’s Instagram presence, with Pinterest treated as a supporting channel. You will be expected to develop calm, aesthetic content that reflects a minimal and sensory brand personality, while working with a clear set of brand guidelines. The role offers creative freedom and close collaboration with the founder.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run the content schedule for Instagram and Pinterest.
- Produce, film, and edit Reels along with other visual content.
- Adapt user-generated content so it matches the brand’s style and standards.
- Draft polished captions and copy that stay true to the brand voice.
- Use scheduling tools to queue and publish social posts.
- Track performance, review analytics, and share reporting on key metrics.
- Work alongside the founder to keep content aligned with overall brand direction.
- Protect a cohesive visual identity across all social channels.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience managing social channels for premium, lifestyle, or similarly positioned brands.
- Confidence creating content, including shooting and editing short-form video.
- Working knowledge of Canva and tools used to schedule social posts.
- Prior Pinterest management experience is a strong plus.
- Clear, persuasive written communication and copywriting ability.
- Ability to produce understated, calm, and tactile-feeling content.
- Strong comfort with analytics, insights, and performance reporting.
- Self-directed working style with good organization and reliability.
- Preference for candidates based in Melbourne, though remote applicants are welcome.
- Availability of around 10 to 15 hours per month on an ongoing basis.
