Job description
About the Company
Just Ice Tea was created to offer a better-for-you tea brand built around fair trade, organic farming, and clean ingredients. The brand was launched in fall 2022 through Eat the Change after the discontinuation of Honest Tea, with help from co-founders Seth Goldman and Barry Nalebuff alongside Chef Spike Mendelsohn. Its line includes 15 varieties of unsweetened and lightly sweetened teas, made to support healthier choices for people and a healthier future for farmers and the planet.
Role Overview

- Use creative strategy informed by performance to support audience growth, stronger engagement, and more meaningful interactions.
- Protect and express the brand voice, story, and visual identity in every social asset while keeping content relevant to current culture.
- Apply research, competitor insights, trend monitoring, and social performance data to guide creative direction and experimentation.
- Write clear creative briefs and campaign concepts that help align internal teams and outside partners.
- Work closely with marketing colleagues so social content supports integrated campaigns and broader brand goals.
- Review social media results across platforms and turn them into practical insights for future planning.
- Prepare performance updates for leadership covering audience growth, engagement patterns, content performance, and optimization opportunities.
- Experiment with new approaches, identify trends in the data, and refine the content program to improve results and return on investment.
- Align social reporting with wider marketing objectives to show how social contributes to brand and business outcomes.
- Foster an active online community through regular interaction, thoughtful engagement, and conversation with followers.
- Look for opportunities to deepen relationships through partnerships, creator collaborations, and relevant cultural moments.
- Support the creation and ongoing management of a brand and college ambassador program that builds loyalty and organic advocacy.
- Report on community health, engagement metrics, audience growth, and sentiment to guide strategic decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience in social media, content strategy, and/or digital marketing within consumer brands.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing content programs that are focused on performance.
- Strong understanding of how social platforms work, along with awareness of cultural trends and online community behavior.
- Hands-on creative production ability across photography, video, short-form editing, and digital design tools such as Adobe, Canva, and CapCut.
- Experience working with UGC creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and producing video content personally.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to turn metrics into clear action plans.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage several content tracks and collaborators in a fast-moving environment.
