Role Overview

As Social Media Manager at HMA, you will be responsible for managing the company’s brand voice and presence daily across multiple social channels. Your role will focus on expanding HMA’s audience and cultural influence within sports and creator-economy conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow HMA's social media presence on Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn through a continuous content strategy.
  • Develop and define HMA's unique brand identity, distinct yet connected to its creators.
  • Enhance the cultural relevance of HMA’s owned shows by crafting timely, platform-specific content tied to key sports moments and narratives.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in sports, entertainment, and internet culture to create resonant content quickly.
  • Maintain and manage a dynamic content calendar balancing regular posts with major campaign support.
  • Analyze channel and content performance to optimize strategy using data insights.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and creative teams to align social media tactics with company goals.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Strong enthusiasm for sports and an acute awareness of trending topics online.
  • Demonstrated success managing social channels end-to-end including strategy, content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Excellent editorial judgment with a knack for storytelling, timing, and shareable content tailored to diverse platforms.
  • Creative mindset with readiness to experiment boldly with formats and tone.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of internet culture, humor, and social-first content techniques.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to handle an active and fast-paced content schedule.
  • Effective communication skills and ease collaborating with multiple teams and company leadership.

Location and Salary

Preference is given to candidates residing on the West Coast of the United States; however, qualified applicants nationwide are welcome. The expected salary range for this role is $70,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual pay is influenced by job location, candidate experience, skills, and education.
