Are you passionate about dance music and skilled in social media? Insomniac Europe is seeking a highly driven Social Media Coordinator to focus on TikTok content creation and management for multiple brands. This role requires creativity, collaboration, and a deep understanding of TikTok trends, electronic music culture, and festival environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to create and manage engaging short-form content for various brands.
- Develop daily TikTok posts using Canva and other content creation tools tailored to Insomniac’s audience.
- Monitor TikTok platform trends and act as a go-to expert within the marketing team.
- Conceptualize and coordinate TikTok video shoots both in office and at live events.
- Work with Records and Media teams to create trending audio content aligned with our brands.
- Design strategies for Instagram Reels to maximize cross-posting of TikTok videos.
- Craft creatively written captions and on-screen text consistent with each brand’s voice.
- Maintain detailed social calendar spreadsheets for concerts, branded events, and festivals.
- Film and edit TikTok videos at festivals and concerts, occasionally traveling for on-site content capture.
- Appear on camera when appropriate to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Support customer service efforts by monitoring inquiries and delivering social feedback through collaboration with the Headliner Experience team.
- Generate reports summarizing sales, event outcomes, and major announcements.
- Assist with social media and marketing activities on-site during events and festivals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the TikTok team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in social media marketing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of TikTok’s platform and community trends.
- Strong familiarity with electronic music, festival culture, and live music scenes.
- Connected with local music venues and nightlife culture.
- Proficiency in shooting and editing quality video content using iPhones.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience with major social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (including Stories), TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of social media management tools such as HootSuite, TweetDeck, and Sprinklr.
- Excellent grammar, copywriting skills, and adeptness in selecting appropriate visual assets.
- Expertise in CapCut and other video content creation applications.
- Experience working onsite at large-scale music concerts or festivals.
Work Conditions
- Flexibility to travel for events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work in noisy, variable temperature environments typical of live event locations.
- Comfortable working in open-plan office spaces.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20 to $27 USD. Compensation depends on experience, education, location, and other factors. The stated range reflects compliance with California’s Salary Transparency laws and applies primarily to California-based employees.
