Overview
Brittain Resorts & Hotels is looking for a proactive Social Media Coordinator to help expand its digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building engaging content, strengthening brand visibility across social platforms, and keeping pace with changing online trends. The company’s portfolio includes resorts, hotels, restaurants, golf, and spas, giving the position a broad mix of creative work.
Responsibilities
- Develop eye-catching, audience-focused content for multiple social platforms.
- Research, draft, and publish blog articles that feature the company’s properties and nearby attractions.
- Track community activity and reply promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Use analytics tools to measure campaign and channel performance, then summarize findings with practical recommendations.
- Monitor emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply new ideas to improve engagement and brand awareness.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of major social media platforms and the audiences they reach.
- Strong writing, speaking, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with a team.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. Candidates should already live in the area or be willing to relocate, since regular in-office teamwork and on-site content creation at portfolio properties are part of the job.
