Job description

About the Company

Mosea is a rapidly growing Gen Z engagement agency that helps brands reach students through ambassador programs, live activations, events, content-led campaigns, product sampling, and campus-focused marketing across Canada and the U.S. The company also runs The Banana Bar Crawl, a major student-oriented event series in North America. Together, these brands focus on building memorable experiences, encouraging audience engagement, and creating genuine connections with Gen Z communities.

Role Summary

Mosea is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to assist the agency team with social content coordination, idea generation, ambassador communication, and everyday campaign support. This 4-month role is well suited to someone who is creative, highly organized, and closely attuned to what students are watching, sharing, and interacting with online.

The right person will be confident working with Instagram and TikTok, have a strong sense of visual style and content quality, and be eager to grow their knowledge of marketing, brand campaigns, and social media strategy. The role involves working with Brand Managers to organize ambassador content, manage campaign communication, monitor deliverables, support creative execution, and keep campaign operations on track. Experience with content creation, social posting, event support, student clubs, promotions, or ambassador programs would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team across social content, campaign coordination, ambassador communication, administrative tracking, and creative brainstorming.

  • Assist Brand Managers with social media concepts, content prompts, campaign ideas, and trend-driven activations for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Stay on top of social trends, creator styles, campus culture, and content opportunities that fit the brand.
  • Collect, sort, and organize inspiration such as references, mood boards, and example content.
  • Review ambassador content to check that it matches campaign direction, client expectations, brand standards, and social best practices.
  • Contribute light content production support when needed, including filming, editing, caption drafting, or preparing sample references.
  • Look for ways to make campaigns feel authentic, engaging, and relevant to student audiences.
  • Support Brand Managers in the daily delivery of client campaigns and ambassador programs.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, content needs, ambassador submissions, and key updates.
  • Help prepare internal materials such as campaign briefs, creative outlines, reporting documents, and post-campaign summaries.
  • Organize brand assets, client guidelines, examples, and campaign files.
  • Ensure campaign details remain accurate, structured, and clearly communicated within the team.
  • Manage ambassador communication through Instagram, TikTok, email, GoHighLevel, and other tools as needed.
  • Handle direct messages, incoming questions, campaign updates, and ambassador follow-ups.
  • Track responses, submissions, availability, and action items from ambassadors.
  • Assist with onboarding, reminders, check-ins, and general communication with ambassadors.
  • Escalate ambassador questions, missing content, or execution issues to Brand Managers.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, content logs, ambassador lists, campaign calendars, and reporting files.
  • Gather links, screenshots, engagement data, campaign results, and other reporting inputs.
  • Keep documentation and campaign assets current and well organized.
  • Provide regular progress updates to Brand Managers on campaign status, ambassador activity, and outstanding tasks.
  • Share creative ideas for content, campus activations, ambassador challenges, events, and social-led brand moments.
  • Translate creative concepts into clear notes, outlines, or basic execution plans.
  • Bring forward trends, student insights, and content ideas that can improve campaign performance.
  • Work closely with the internal team to stay aligned on objectives, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Approach work with initiative, positivity, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in Instagram, TikTok, social trends, creator culture, and Gen Z audiences. They should be comfortable contributing to, reviewing, or building social content and should have a strong visual eye and a clear sense of aesthetics.

  • Strong interest in Instagram, TikTok, trends, creators, and Gen Z culture.
  • Comfort with creating, reviewing, or supporting social media content.
  • Good eye for visual presentation, content quality, and overall social aesthetics.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing messages, spreadsheets, trackers, and campaign updates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple deadlines and tasks in a busy environment.
  • Works well independently and within a team.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Confident communicating with ambassadors and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience posting content on Instagram or TikTok, whether personally or on behalf of a brand, club, school group, or previous role.
  • Background as a brand ambassador, campus representative, content creator, event promoter, social media coordinator, or student leader.
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Excel, Slack, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Experience helping with events, promotions, or community-based marketing campaigns.

Ideal Candidate

The strongest fit for this role is someone who is creative, highly organized, and genuinely excited about social media. They should understand what feels authentic online, enjoy generating ideas, and be interested in how brands connect with student communities.

This person should be eager to learn, comfortable working quickly, and ready to support Brand Managers with both creative and administrative tasks. Attention to detail, initiative, a social-first mindset, and enthusiasm for fast-moving client work are all important.
