Role overview

This part-time, remote position is for a Social Media Coordinator at Switch Al Maghrib (SWAM). The role is centered on organizing, producing, and sharing content across the company’s social channels while keeping the brand voice steady and recognizable.

Key duties

• Develop, prepare, and publish social content across the organization’s platform accounts.
• Maintain a reliable daily posting calendar and ensure content goes out on time.
• Keep an eye on audience interactions, answer comments and direct messages, and support community engagement.
• Work with internal team members and stakeholders to collect ideas, updates, and content inputs.
• Assist with digital campaign execution and help coordinate campaign-related social posts.
• Review post and campaign performance data to identify what is working and guide future improvements.
• Track current platform trends and suggest fresh content ideas to improve reach and audience participation.

Qualifications and experience

• Proven ability to create social media content and use social media marketing to grow and engage online audiences.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, inclusive, and brand-consistent messaging.
• Understanding of digital marketing basics such as audience targeting, analytics, and campaign refinement.
• Hands-on experience with major social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn, along with scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
• Comfort working with varied teams and adjusting content for different audience groups.
• Previous experience in social media or marketing is preferred, and related coursework or certifications are considered a plus.
