About the role
Pluto is looking for a Social Content Manager to join the Digital and Social team. This position plays a key part in connecting client service with content thinking, helping clients shape and share their stories through a digital-first approach. The role reports to the Head of Digital & Social and is based in Dublin, Ireland; it is not a remote role.
What you will do
- Develop ideas for social content and campaign concepts, and contribute to the creative execution that brings them to life.
- Write, pitch, and help sell ideas, while also taking part in production work across video, still imagery, animation, and related formats, depending on your production background.
- Act as the daily point of contact for several social clients, building strong relationships, understanding their needs, spotting opportunities for improvement, and solving issues as they come up.
- Create and deliver channel and campaign strategies, content plans, and calendars with an eye on business performance and opportunities to support growth.
- Oversee full campaign delivery by coordinating with internal creative, agency, live, and external supplier teams to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Support margin protection and business growth through careful scoping, accurate quoting, and close monitoring of time and resource usage.
- Manage publishing and platform activity, maintain a consistent brand tone of voice, and guide community management responses when needed.

Candidate profile
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in social advertising, idea generation for clients, and day-to-day client communication, ideally in an agency or in-house environment.
- Experience handling both always-on activity and campaign-led work, preferably across several clients at the same time.
- Strong skills in communication, client management, and presenting ideas clearly.
- A strong creative eye and the ability to contribute both ambitious and smaller-scale ideas.
- Hands-on experience producing video and still content for social channels, in collaboration with editors, photographers, designers, videographers, and similar specialists.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets as well as internal and external resources effectively.
- A personal social-focused creative project or channel with its own audience is welcome, though not required.
