About the role

Dog Friendly Co. is a rapidly expanding global direct-to-consumer pet lifestyle brand that aims to redefine premium products and content for modern dog owners. The company is looking for a Social Content Lead to take complete ownership of its organic content engine, from strategy and creative direction to creator management and performance impact.

This position suits someone who understands how social content drives attention and growth in today’s landscape. You should know how to design scalable content formats and use social channels as a meaningful business driver, not just a posting schedule.

Role overview

You will lead organic content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and newer platforms as they emerge. The role carries responsibility for audience growth, engagement, reach, and the contribution content makes to commercial outcomes.

This is a full ownership role focused on building and running the content system end to end.

What you will do

  • Set the direction for organic content across all channels, including strategy, format selection, publishing rhythm, and experimentation.
  • Create reusable content frameworks that are designed to attract attention and perform at scale.
  • Collaborate with creators, editors, and videographers to deliver consistently strong content.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage creators who can extend the brand’s reach at scale.
  • Oversee the entire content pipeline from concept development through publication.
  • Work alongside influencer, creative, and performance teams to maximize important brand moments.
  • Convert audience attention into action by driving traffic and interest to the website.
  • Monitor and improve results across reach, engagement, shares, saves, website traffic, and revenue contribution.
  • Keep up with social trends, evolving content formats, and platform changes, then quickly turn those insights into execution.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in growing a brand or creator account through organic social content. You should have a strong grasp of how attention behaves across platforms and be able to explain why certain content succeeds.

You need to be comfortable working with creators or scaling content through other people, and you should be able to operate independently from planning through delivery. Fast movement, personal accountability, and a genuine interest in building a brand people care about are all important.

Bonus experience

  • You make content yourself and understand performance from direct experience.
  • You have already built, or are actively building, your own audience.
  • You are comfortable appearing on camera when required.
