Position Details
Applications are open for the role of Social Care Worker within the Community Residential Service in Limerick. The opportunity includes permanent full-time, permanent part-time, and relief contracts.
Salary ranges from €41,260 to €57,789, depending on relevant public sector experience and pro-rated based on hours worked.
Qualifications and Experience
The following are essential qualifications and skills:
- Hold a QQI Level 7 or higher qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or an equivalent award approved for CORU registration.
- A CORU-recognized Social Care Qualification (refer to CORU approved qualifications list for Social Care Workers).
- Possession of a full, clean Irish driving license for manual vehicles.
- Proficiency in English.
Desirable attributes include:
- Experience working within the intellectual disability sector.
- Familiarity with supporting individuals exhibiting behaviors of concern.
- Experience with Person Centered Planning.
- Awareness of HIQA Standards and regulatory requirements.
- A genuine desire to support individuals to live fulfilling lives.
- Willingness to assist people in developing skills related to their interests and learning goals.
