Job Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for compassionate and committed Social Care Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to those who rely on our services. This role involves assisting individuals in planning and managing daily life activities, fostering community participation, supporting education and skill development, and encouraging independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining social connections. Additionally, workers will adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements and work flexibly across a 24/7 roster to ensure continuous support.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, or a related area is mandatory.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies, including CORU, where applicable.
- Previous experience in social care or support roles is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive approach, willingness to learn, and dedication to helping individuals achieve fulfilling, independent lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and external parties.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A full driving licence is required or candidates must be in the process of obtaining one.
- Flexibility and dependability to work varied shifts according to service requirements.
