Job description

About the Company

Huntress was established in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators with the goal of making enterprise-level cybersecurity available to organizations of every size. The company operates with a remote-first model and works alongside security teams and managed service providers that protect complex environments, especially where internal time or staffing is limited. Its technology is developed in-house and supported by a 24/7 human-run Security Operations Center (SOC), keeping the platform closely connected to the experts behind it.

Today, Huntress protects more than 5 million endpoints and 11 million identities across the world, and that footprint continues to expand as more businesses depend on its support.

This entry-level position sits between Huntress partners/customers and the SOC team. The role is focused on delivering responsive service, translating cybersecurity topics into clear language, and helping partners get effective support while maintaining a strong understanding of security concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers and partners through phone, email, and chat with a high standard of service.
  • Handle security-related questions and concerns promptly and clearly.
  • Simplify complex SOC findings, processes, and actions so partners can understand them easily.
  • Run partner calls and help drive communication between partners and the SOC team.
  • Investigate product-related issues and assist with other support requests as needed.
  • Work closely with internal teams to improve the customer experience.
  • Represent partner needs and share useful feedback with the right internal stakeholders.
  • Help create knowledge base content and other support materials.

What You Need

  • A strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to keep learning in the field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong people skills.
  • Ability to stay composed and show empathy while assisting partners during security incidents.
  • Good prioritization and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Comfort with change and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confidence in asking questions when needed.
  • Self-awareness and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in an MSP or help desk environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Basic understanding of SIEM tools.

Perks and Benefits

  • 100% remote work.
  • At least one annual trip to the United States for Summer Summit, plus additional local events in Australia.
  • AUD 800 reimbursement for a new starter home office setup.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers.
  • Monthly AUD 185 allowance toward personal phone and internet expenses.
