Role Overview

We are recruiting Site Supervisors for projects including the Lyric Theatre and Northside Hospital in Canberra. The role involves leading subcontractor teams to ensure work aligns with safety, schedule, and quality criteria, overseeing daily operations, coordinating short-term work plans, and liaising with subcontractors and consultants to address any issues.

You will regularly update the Site Manager, mentor junior colleagues, enforce a safe working environment, and manage all activities to meet project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

The Supervisor must collaborate effectively with subcontractors and the internal team to drive excellent outcomes and support the development of junior staff through mentorship and sharing best practices.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have a thorough understanding of structures, steelwork, fit-out, finishing works, and services in the capacity of site supervision. Experience on mid- to large-scale commercial construction projects covering the full project lifecycle is essential. Candidates must also possess deep knowledge of building and construction trades supported by relevant experience or qualifications.
