Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and seasoned Site Manager to join our Contracting Services team at Adbri, responsible for overseeing site projects that encompass supply, design, and installation of products from the Adbri Masonry range. This position is based at our Stapylton Masonry plant on the Gold Coast and reports directly to the Queensland State Manager of Contracting Services.

Our team, comprising project site managers and engineers across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales, relies on your expertise to expand Adbri Masonry's market presence by ensuring our solutions meet client demands and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial on-site inspections before project kick-off.
  • Manage daily project operations including coordinating with subcontractors and overseeing material deliveries and cost controls.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients.
  • Prepare project quotations and estimates.
  • Ensure product delivery and installation align with client expectations.
  • Identify and vet local subcontractors to support project installation needs.
  • Ensure all subcontractors comply with site and company safety standards.
  • Provide training to subcontractors on product knowledge, best construction practices, and safety protocols.
  • Drive sales efforts and offer technical assistance for Adbri Masonry products.
  • Participate in ongoing product and process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Between four and five years of experience in project site management.
  • Background in landscaping, masonry, or related construction industries.
  • Strong comprehension of landscape product application and installation techniques.
  • Capable of working independently and within a geographically dispersed team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Firm dedication to safety and quality standards.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for involvement in sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Queensland and interstate customer locations.
