About the Role
Millennium Services Group, a leading Australian provider of cleaning, security, and facilities management services since 2003, is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Site Supervisor. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, possess a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about creating pristine and welcoming spaces for clients and customers. The position operates on a Monday to Friday daytime roster, with the expectation of flexibility as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
- Schedule tasks effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
- Delegate responsibilities, conduct quality checks, and ensure all assigned tasks are completed.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff members.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Train staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and site-specific protocols.
- Manage and resolve interpersonal conflicts in a fair and calm manner.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate channels when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
- Take prompt and effective action in response to accidents or hazards.
- Document and report incidents accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Communicate instructions clearly to team members.
- Address client requests and feedback professionally.
- Maintain high service standards and ensure client satisfaction.
- Understand and apply safe chemical handling practices, including SDS sheets and dilution ratios.
- Operate and maintain cleaning machinery such as scrubbers and vacuums.
About You
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Experience in cleaning within retail settings is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale sites.
- Proficiency in computer systems for managing rosters and other administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent performance.
- Exceptional attention to detail, identifying areas needing improvement.
- Proactive approach, taking initiative without constant direction.
- Ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes and challenges.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks effectively under pressure.
- Must possess valid work authorization for Australia.
