  • Lead and support junior engineers, operatives, and subcontractors while promoting safe and compliant delivery.
  • Apply quality processes, prepare ITPs, complete inspections, and raise NCRs where necessary.
  • Support environmental compliance by understanding site impacts and following project environmental management plans.
  • Track progress, contribute to short-term planning, and prepare material take-offs and productivity updates.
  • Assist with temporary works through inspections, low-risk design input, and preparation of design briefs for medium-risk activities.

Requirements

  • HNC qualification or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Approximately 4 years of experience working on major civil engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of surveying methods, setting out, and core engineering principles.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical reports, and specifications confidently.
  • Comfortable using digital tools including AutoCAD or BricsCAD, Word, Excel, and document control platforms.
  • Experience with inspection and testing of construction materials.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving ability.
