Role Overview

We are searching for experienced and motivated Site Engineers to join the Galway team for a significant pharmaceutical construction project. The Site Engineer will supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaboration with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders will be essential to successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to Site Manager, Project Manager, and Contracts Manager, performing all assigned duties diligently.
• Ensure all site work complies with specifications or acceptable alternative standards as directed.
• Accurate site and structural setting out aligned with project schedules to avoid delays.
• Maintain dimensional precision in all project components.
• Guarantee that construction quality meets or exceeds specifications.
• Keep detailed records for all building activities.
• Ensure timely availability of all necessary resources for work completion.
• Manage and implement workplace health and safety protocols as outlined in Safety Manuals.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrate proven experience as a Site Engineer within the construction sector.
• Thorough knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and compliance with legal regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to perform under pressure.
• Familiarity with construction management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a valid driving license and be willing to travel between various sites as needed.
