Role overview
The Showroom Manager is tasked with creating an outstanding client journey while ensuring the showroom runs smoothly and performs strongly from a commercial standpoint. The position represents STEPEVI’s high-end custom rug and interior offering to architects, designers, and private customers.
Client experience and brand representation
- Provide a tailored, advisory-style client experience that reflects luxury service standards.
- Confidently showcase collections, bespoke options, and technical product details to clients.
- Keep the showroom presented to a consistently high standard, following brand and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Welcome and host client appointments, private meetings, architects, interior designers, and trade visitors.
Commercial development
- Support strong sales outcomes and work toward revenue goals.
- Build and maintain a healthy client base through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Spot new business opportunities across design, architecture, and luxury residential markets.
- Prepare quotations, manage project follow-ups, and coordinate the order process.
Operational management
- Run the day-to-day showroom workflow, including scheduling, sample handling, and stock oversight.
- Ensure internal procedures and service expectations are consistently followed.
- Work with head office on orders, logistics, marketing activities, and reporting.
Showroom standards and environment
- Maintain a polished, welcoming, and professional atmosphere at all times.
- Keep product displays, materials, and supporting documentation current and accurate.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings experience from luxury retail, interior design, or a premium client advisory environment. A strong understanding of design-led selling and bespoke product settings is important, along with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills suited to an international clientele. The role also calls for a highly organized, detail-focused, commercially minded professional with a polished appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of commercial experience, ideally in luxury interiors, design, rugs and carpets, or lifestyle-related sectors.
- Availability to work on Saturdays is mandatory.
- Strong grasp of luxury client expectations and consultative, design-oriented selling.
- An existing network in luxury, contracts/FF&E, architecture, design, interior, or hospitality circles is preferred.
- Fluent English is required.
- Additional European languages and/or Turkish would be an advantage.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- International mindset, openness, positivity, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable using IT tools such as CRM systems, Office applications, and social media.
