Role Responsibilities

The Shipping Technician I will be responsible for accurately identifying product sizes and proficiently operating automatic machinery and tools, including lift booms and automatic strapping equipment. The role requires understanding stock rotation principles, effectively using a barcode system, loading trucks and railcars safely aligned with driver safety protocols, and completing necessary paperwork such as loading diagrams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with operating heavy-lift forklifts, including performing safety inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong mathematical skills to ensure inventory accuracy
• Ability to maintain positive customer relations
