Shipping Personnel

Role Overview

This full-time shipping role is based in Lagos State and focuses on coordinating deliveries, tracking orders, and ensuring customer shipments are handled accurately from dispatch to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the movement of goods to customer-designated warehouses anywhere within Nigeria.
• Maintain and regularly update the open-orders spreadsheet and monitor order status.
• Keep detailed records of all correspondence with the original equipment manufacturer and customers regarding each order.
• Prepare progress reports covering purchase orders, expected completion dates, and any production-related issues.
• Provide customers with weekly updates on their orders and expected delivery timelines.
• Track orders from the point of placement until they are delivered.
• Check incoming shipments to confirm the right items and correct quantities have been received.
• Update inventory records to reflect stock movement and deliveries.
• Draft requests for quotations as needed.
• Handle other reasonable duties assigned by office managers.

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Logistics or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
• Prepared to travel when required.
• Strong verbal articulation and solid written communication skills.
• Capable of working from home for up to 5 nights each week during delivery periods.
• Solid working knowledge of expediting and logistics processes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication ability.
• Strong time management and leadership capabilities.
