About the Role
As a Shift Manager at Cross Keys pub in Peterhead, you will assist the pub manager by overseeing the business during your shift. This involves energizing, guiding, and organising the team, managing customer interactions, delegating tasks efficiently, and contributing hands-on support in all areas including bar service and the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assuming full responsibility for the pub’s operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Leading, motivating, and supporting team members to maintain high standards.
- Prioritising tasks, delegating work appropriately, and resolving issues promptly.
- Working a range of shifts throughout the week covering front of house and kitchen duties.
- Maintaining excellence in cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance, and atmosphere.

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 1:00 AM
- Friday and Saturday: 6:30 AM to 2:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM

- Starting salary: £29,013 annually (additional pay weightings apply in some regions)
