About the Role

As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you play a critical leadership role in driving the company’s mission within the restaurant environment. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere, support daily operations, lead team members during your shift, and actively contribute to preparing Panda's signature dishes. This position offers a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting where you can build diverse skills and lead by example.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a vibrant and friendly environment for guests.
  • Assist in the management of store operations and supervise staff during shifts.
  • Participate hands-on in cooking and meal preparation to maintain Panda’s food quality standards.
  • Develop leadership and operational skills and help grow team members professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum education: Some high school education.
  • Operational experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must obtain local or municipal food safety certifications, such as Food Handler certification, at own expense.
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods (up to four hours).
  • Physical ability to work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments, including repeated use of kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively handle dynamic changes and challenging situations.
