SHE Specialist I

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all employees, supporting the Goal Zero principle aimed at continual improvement in safety, health, and environmental practices.
• Promote and support quality assurance processes by emphasizing error-free work and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and enforce safety and quality procedures, ensuring correct equipment and material usage and enhancing SHE practices at the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with local Saudi regulations and ChampionX's SHE standards.
• Complete and submit reports required by government agencies and company safety protocols accurately and on time.
• Manage Business Continuity Plans and assist in crisis management activities.
• Oversee HSE training programs, ensuring alignment with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory mandates.
• Maintain and implement SHEQ management system documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with retention policies.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001), ensuring adherence to certification requirements.
• Manage incident case practices, work injury accommodations, and lead investigations of workplace incidents, conducting thorough analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Inspect regional facilities to identify and mitigate hazards, ensuring implementation of corrective measures.
• Represent the company in external safety forums and oversee various safety-related programs, including Industrial Hygiene and Contractor Safety Program management.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage incident follow-ups, compile and analyze SHEQ metrics, preparing monthly reports and maintaining confidentiality on sensitive matters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety with at least 3 years’ relevant experience within oil and gas or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven experience in internal auditing and managing ISO standard documentation and requirements.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to internal software systems.
• Good command of English and strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and capability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
