About the role
Police Bank is a fast-expanding mutual bank in Australia that focuses on practical, member-first financial products and services. The organisation is seeking a meticulous and well-organised settlements officer to support its account fulfilment function by handling loan processing work accurately and efficiently.
In this position, you will help ensure mortgage applications move through settlement smoothly, while also supporting members and external stakeholders throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Be part of the account fulfilment team and manage mortgage loan document processing and settlement activity.
- Check and complete mortgage settlement paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
- Handle mortgage discharge work.
- Send discharge and settlement instructions to solicitors within required deadlines.
- Prepare documents related to loan funding.
- Look for and support improvements to current processes and methods.
About you
- You have prior experience in lending, settlements, or mortgage discharges.
- You are highly accurate and detail-focused.
- You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite.
- You can work well on your own as well as collaboratively in a team.
