Role overview

Litmus7 is hiring a ServiceNow Developer in Kochi, Kerala for a full-time onsite role. The position calls for 3 to 5 years of experience and focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

What you will work on

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow-based solutions, including custom apps, workflows, and integrations.
  • Use JavaScript and web services to create and extend platform functionality.
  • Work on ServiceNow Ticketing System development responsibilities.
  • Build integrations with external systems, middleware platforms, and monitoring tools.
  • Write custom scripts and business rules to support dynamic workflow and application behavior.
  • Configure forms, lists, and reports to improve usability and platform effectiveness.
  • Evaluate business processes for automation opportunities and identify where AI can improve outcomes.
  • Review ticket history and SOPs to uncover automation ideas and ROI opportunities.
  • Carry out testing, validation, and deployment-related checks for changes.
  • Prepare clear and complete technical documentation.

Technical expectations

  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide scripting, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scalability optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations through REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Ability to work with external AI models and support agentic AI-based workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and concepts.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow products such as Virtual Agent, Now Assist, and Integration Hub.

Additional requirements

The candidate should be able to analyze business opportunities, spot automation potential, and think through practical use of AI in workflows. A clear understanding of change deployment is also expected. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is preferred.
