Qualifications
- Friendly, helpful attitude suited for teamwork.
- Prior experience in operations is advantageous but not required.
- Minimum education: some high school.
- Food Handler certification might be necessary depending on local regulations; obtained by the candidate at their own cost.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
The role involves being in a kitchen environment where counter areas can be hot with steam and fumes. Employees are expected to stand for extended periods, prepare hot and cold foods, use kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and work efficiently without compromising accuracy. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and reaching across 36-inch countertops. The environment is often noisy and fast-paced, requiring excellent communication skills, adaptability, and conflict resolution abilities.
